The Wandering Table is Back! This time, they are featuring Fall and all its many flavors! The Wandering Table Snuggles up to Fall in at the VUDE with 8 courses! (A few teasers below).
They are baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! And so are VUDE dinners. It has been too long of a break from both!
This is a story of how passion began as a roving pop-up restaurant in Spokane and ultimately turned into two full-time restaurants and then some! That passion and the star chefs are coming back to Seattle, better than ever, just to be here for this special dinner! With autumn officially here, the bounty is bountiful!
The Details: The Wandering Table (http://www.thewanderingtable.com/) returns to The VUDE from their adventures around the Pacific Northwest, bringing with them a multi-course innovative dinner par excellence. It is the beginning of fall, and that means harvest abundance and amazing flavors. Chef Adam Hegsted goes out of his way to seek the best products, and to honor those who grew them by doing his best at serving them in ways that make food memorable. He brings this passion to the VUDE for great experiences and community. Imagine Washington's fresh local fare with a playful twist! The evening begins at 6:00 with mingling, and at 7:00 we will sit down for dinner.
To tease your palate there will be courses like: Morel Mushroom Confit with Steelhead Steelhead Roe & Duck Pastrami with Sauerkraut and Rye Crackers. Foie Gras Poptart
As always at The VUDE, each course will come with an incredible pairing; Hand of God wines, fantastic cocktails and of course, a few surprises. Tickets are a steal at $125. The price is all-inclusive, including sales tax. For legal reasons, this is a "private event," not a "public event," meaning that entrance is only allowed to Club members and you can't just walk in off the street.
Chef Adam's Philosophy "There is a reason that all great chefs of the world use seasonal, local ingredients. When you stand next to a farmer you work with, and hold a tomato still warm from the sun, or spend a day foraging for mushrooms, inspiration fills you. Our menus are created and meant to reflect the best of the season. We have created one of the most interesting and unique dining experiences in the Northwest and you are invited."
Chef Adam has cooked at the James Beard house in New York, won multiple national awards and owns five restaurants in the Inland Northwest: Wandering Table, Yards Bruncheon, Cellar Restaurant, Eat Good Café and Le Catering Co. Of course, if you make it over that way you will get special treatment for being members of The VUDE. But save yourself the gas and come to this dinner here!
