LA Burlesque Community Peer Review
We are so excited to announce the first The LA Burlesque Community Peer Review!
It is a safe and friendly place to get helpful feedback, tangible critique and support for your act, performance or concept. This review panel consists of 3 reviewers who are experienced, knowledgeable, respected performers and a moderator. We hope to make this a quarterly event, and the panelists will vary for each peer review! Panelists for this event will be announced shortly!
You will perform your full act in front of a moderated panel of experienced, knowledgeable, respected performers for general feedback on your overall act. Unless otherwise requested, the panel will provide friendly, constructive critiques on the following: overall performance, music, choreography/movement, stage presence and engagement. You will receive the comment sheets from the panel afterwards.
**SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
-Review slots available on a first come first serve basis
-Once your submission is approved, you must pay via this link to confirm your spot. This is the only way to be confirmed.
-No acts over 7 minutes
-You will perform a full act in front of the panel. It is in your best interest to be stage-ready in order to get the best review possible.
-Other reviewees will be in audience during your run-through.
-Arrive on-time in order to keep your review spot.
-There must be at least 5 confirmed acts in order for us to hold the event due to space rental fees. In the event that we do not have 5, the event will be cancelled.
