John Brown's Body- Boston, Massachusetts / Ithaca, New York
Elliot Martin - Lead Vocals Tommy Benedetti - Drums Nate Edgar - Bass Mike Keenan - Guitar Jon "JP" Petronzio - Keys Scott Flynn Trombone Drew Sayers - Saxophone Sam Dechenne - Trumpet Jocko - Sound Engineer
John Brown's Body's "Future Roots" uses reggae as a foundation, but incorporates dub, drum and bass, and electro to create a sound both timeless and forward. Described by LA2DAY as "delivering the most forward-thinking reggae music in the world today" the 8-piece band's killer live show has super heavy rhythms, a three piece horn section, air tight drum and bass and "the most gorgeous melodies in all of modern reggae music" [All Music Guide], all backed by a dubbed-out sound engineer. However it's defined, it's got people buzzing about this progressive band from Boston and Ithaca, NY who's latest album, Amplify, debuted at #1 on Billboard's Reggae Chart.

Highland Brewing Company- Asheville, North Carolina
Highland Brewing Company began in the basement of Barley's Taproom in downtown Asheville, North Carolina in 1994. Through the years the company has grown from a three-person operation to a staff of over 20, from about 4,000 to 35,000 square feet, and from a capacity to brew 2,000 barrels annually to almost 30,000 (that's 930,000 gallons). Those of you who saw the old brewery may remember the retrofitted dairy equipment we used. They have since been sold to a biodiesel company for their third job. We replaced them and added to our lineup with new fermentation and brite beer tanks to go with our 50-barrel brew house. On our pilot system, we create the "Brewer's Stache," an ever-changing think tank (drink tank?) where we play around with seasonal beers, high gravity brews, cask ales, and whatever else the brewers dream up. Come see us for a taste! Highland currently supplies the Carolinas and parts of Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Alabama and Virginia.
The finest, freshly crafted beer made in the mountains of North Carolina.
