Think of it as trick-or-treating with a gourmet - and Andersonville - flair! More than twenty restaurants in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood will showcase their sweetest and most delicious dishes during the 10th Annual Andersonville Dessert Crawl on Sunday, October 25, 2015, from 2:00-5:00PM.
Participants will pick up their Dessert Crawl "passport" at the Swedish American Museum, 5211 N. Clark Street, and then proceed on foot to the participating restaurants and stores for tasting-sized portions at each location.
The Andersonville Dessert Crawl supports the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce, with $1 of each ticket sold benefitting Care for Real, Edgewater's food pantry.
The Andersonville Dessert Crawl is proud to be a zero waste food crawl! In partnership with Onyx Distribution, the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce provides compostable serveware and utensils free of charge to participating restaurants. Compost bins will be stationed at intervals throughout the neighborhood for the use of crawl patrons. Compost pickup is provided by Collective Resource.
Space is limited
Event sponsors: Jerry's, Starbucks, and Onyx Distribution.
