The Halloween Project
'The Halloween Project' A night of the dark, the grotesque, and the unexplained
An immersive theatre and arts experience is set to make audiences shiver this Halloween.
This Halloween new theatre company 'Stitch in Time' is taking over a gothic warehouse in Bermondsey for two nights of spooky immersive theatre and arts. The event brings together a range of different art forms in response to the theme - 'The Dark, the Grotesque, and the Unexplained' to give audiences a Halloween experience like no other.
Audiences at the event will be encouraged to freely explore the venue, and with a plethora of rooms and secret passageways to discover - each playing host to a different artistic response there really will be something for everyone. Director/Producer Robyn Hoedemaker says,
"We wanted to combine different art forms (club-night DJs will work alongside 'Shakespearean' actors, cabaret performers with visual artists) to offer up an artistic feast to suit all palates.
The immersive nature of the project aims to break down the expectations of the audience/artist relationship so that our attendees can actively participate this is a time to play! Halloween should be fun; leave it in our hands to thrill you."
As well Stitch in Time's professionally trained actors, 'The Halloween Project' features music and visuals from Wizard Sleeve Collective's DJ's and VJ's (whose 3D Projection Mapping recently went on show at Boomtown and Lost festivals), immersive theatre from Produced Moon theatre company, a live electronics act, cabaret and live music
performances, and a range of visual and interactive artwork on display. The Halloween project will take place on Fri 30th & Sat 31st October 6-10pm (last entry 7pm)at Ugly Duck, 47/49 Tanner Street, London SE1 3PL
