Opera Créole Presents: "Minette Fontaine"
Set in 1840s New Orleans, Minette Fontaine, a glamorous visiting opera star, has been invited to entertain at the home of Mme. de Noyan, a leader in Creole society. While there, she is annoyed to be treated by Mme. de Noyan as though she were a social inferior, and resolves to get revenge by enlisting the help of voodoo priestess Marie Laveau to steal the love of Diron Hachard, a handsome wealthy Creole who is betrothed to Clarice, Mme. de Noyan's daughter.
