As the nights are drawing in, we are joining up once again with our old friends at Insider Festival for a delicious dinner by the open fire and an evening of music on the shores of Loch Fyne.
After a two-course dinner at renowned new restaurant Inver (www.inverrestaurant.co.uk), Scottish folk musician and composer Aidan O'Rourke (www.aidanorourke.net) will play a selection of his work in the adjacent Boathouse. An Argyll native, Aidan's music reflects a fascination with Scottish landscape, culture and territory. Aidan has played fiddle from a young age, both as a solo artist and as part of bands Lau (three times winners of BBC Folk Group of the Year), Blazin' Fiddles and Kan. Also a critically acclaimed composer, Aidan is a key figure in the revival of Scottish folk music.
