The IVES QUARTET plays UKIAH!
Deep Valley Chamber Music Series will be presenting the acclaimed Ives Quartet in concert on Saturday, March 31 at 7:30pm at the SPACE Theater, Ukiah. Based in Silicon Valley, this quartet has captivated audiences from San Francisco to New York; Taiwan to London. Committed to presenting the full scope of the string quartet literature, the Ives Quartet has earned critical and popular acclaim for the depth and diversity of its repertoire, from masterworks to new commissions. The program will include Haydn's String Quartet in E-flat Major and the String Quartet No. 3 by 20th century composer, Quincy Porter. It will conclude with Schubert's String Quartet No. 14 in D minor, known as "Death and the Maiden".
