TAKING SIDES March 10
Set during the avid "de-Nazification" of postwar Germany, the play is based on the real life investigation of the German conductor Wilhelm Furtwängler and his role during the war. To the American charged with investigating him, he's a villain, to many musicians he was a savior. The question is - which was he? The author is an Academy Award winning screenwriter (The Pianist) and was knighted for services to the theatre. A thrilling play. Sophisticated and not likely of interest to younger children.
TAKING SIDES by Ronald Harwood
Directed by Karesa McElheny
Cast: Peter Renaday, Robert Mammana, Paul Denniston, Jack Kandel, Bonnie Cahoon and Carey Brown.
