TODO o NADA!... La Super Comedia!
Due to the national economic crisis, like thousands of Latino workers unemployed in the city of Chicago, Homer is desperate!
In debt and facing the loss of his home, Homer is comes up with a wild idea. Recruiting a group of unemployed friends, he concocts a plan to put on a male strip show. Convinced that to ensure success, they must bare all they decided to set shyness aside and go ALL OR NOTHING/TODO O NADA!!!
Reflecting the capacity of Latinos for making fun of their own misfortunes, TODO O NADA is the comedy of real life. Taking a bad situation, these friends use their wit, creativity, and more than a little bravery to succeed.
Based on the original work, the English film "The Full Monty" and the Spanish text from Jairon Salguero, Max Herbert Da' Silva adapted and directs TODO O NADA! ("All or Nothing!"), an all Spanish comedy set in present day Chicago with Latino characters. Da' Silva, President and founder of GrinLight Theater Company, a prominent actor and experienced director of local theater, has brought together an outstanding ensemble of talented actors from different nationalities and cultures to give life to this comedic gem in two acts.
GrinLight Theater Company is born of the interest in promoting theater culture in Spanish through the exploration of all its genres, as well as the need to expand and improve opportunities for local diversity stage artists.
