Puppet Pandemic
Puppet Pandemic: This showcase of works explores the infectious nature of puppets! From marionettes to papier mache mayhem, puppeteers breed new strains of creativity and redefine conventional notions of puppetry!
Hosted by Uncle Jimmy, AKA James Godwin, we present new work by: Zeb West, Melissa Dunphy, Cameron Garrity, Brodrick Jones, Katie Correll, Michelle Finston, Honey Goodenough and more! Puppet Pandemic is made possible much thanks to The Puppet Slam Network!
These puppetry pieces were developed at the National Puppetry Conference held at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. All profits from these performances will fund an Alumni Scholarship to attend the National Puppetry Conference, in order to continue propagating provocative theatrical works. The Alumni Scholarship was founded on the belief that puppetry is a contagious art form. Once you have attended the National Puppetry Conference you will most likely be infected by the PUPPET PANDEMIC!
Like a pandemic, the passion for puppetry is spreading! The only cure -- a dose of puppet performances!
