Storybox

On The Spot Improv is collaborating with the Chicago Improv Festival Productions to present Storybox. Storybox will run March 8, 9, and 10 at the ARTS at Marks Garage (1159 Nuuanu Ave.) Shows on Thursday through Saturday start at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 and $10 for students.

Storybox is an improvised play that draws upon the theatrical techniques of Story Theatre, Noh Theatre, and long-form narrative improvisation, and will feature mix blend of Honolulu based improvisers. With every show, the cast creates a unique journey of characters, style and tone. Sometimes dramatic, sometimes comedic, most times a vibrant mixture of both, Storybox brings the audience a compelling and powerful production of unscripted theatre.

Storybox plays Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, March 8, 9, and 10, 8:00pm at The ARTS at Marks Garage. Tickets are $15 general and $10 for students w/ ID and are available at the door one hour before show time.
