SHOWROOM SHOWS
-Cloud Tectonics by Jose Rivera
-Directed by Aimee Bruneau
-Gala: Nov. 19, 2005 (6:30pm)

Synopsis:
After a late night shift at LAX airport, Anibal de la Luna meets a sopping wet and very beautiful hitchhiker named Celestina del Sol in a fantastic LA Downpour. She is pregnant and says that she is 54 years old. In one night (that seems to last for 20 years) Anibal and Celestina mesmerize each other, and discover the kind of love that stops the heart as well as time. Rivera's story drips with sensuality and otherworldly sensations. The stories of Anibal and Celestina wrap around each other and become knotted, slow down, speed up, and continue shifting within Rivera's urgent and lush elliptical language.

-God's Country by Steven Dietz
-Directed by Sheila Daniels
-Gala: Jan. 28, 2005 (6:30pm)

Synopsis:
God's Country weaves the Seattle trial of the white supremacist group called The Order (based in the NW), the assassination of Jewish Denver radio shock jock, Allan Berg, and the hate-filled career of The Order founder, Robert Matthews, into a fast-paced and emotionally gripping courtroom drama. First commissioned by ACT 18 years ago, God's Country has received hundreds of productions around the world.

-The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Book & Music by Rupert Holmes
-Directed by John Langs
--Gala: Apr. 1, 2005 (6:30pm)

Synopsis:
This is a story about the disappearance of a wealthy, popular young man. The Mystery of Edwin Drood was the last book Charles Dickens wrote, but it was left incomplete when he died, taking the secret to his grave. What we are left with is an unfinished novel, published in part, leaving all of Dickens' readers to speculate on young Drood's fate. Rupert Holmes' rousing musical borrows the audience's imagination to solve the mystery on a nightly basis! There are over 13 endings to the show and the audience literally gets to choose the ending!

-The Birthday Party by Harold Pinter
-Directed John Abramson
-Gala: June 24, 2005 (6:30pm)

Synopsis:
Stanley Webber is the only lodger in Meg and Petey Boles' seaside boarding house. One morning, while Meg and Stanley are bantering over breakfast, she mention
