Artist bios:
Melanie DeMore is an accomplished folk singer, songwriter, composer, choral conductor and teacher. She was a founding member of the Grammy nominated vocal ensemble Linda Tillery and the Cultural Heritage Choir. She has shared the stage with some of the world's most notable musicians and political activists from Gloria Steinem, Odetta, Pete Seeger, and Judy Collins to Ed Asner, Holly Near, Ronnie Gilbert, and Ani Di Franco. She has been credited with launching and inspiring the careers of many of her students over the years, including Skyblaze/Sony recording artist Goapele.
Ramon Villagomez is an up and coming hip hop and pop singer/songwriter from Guanajuato, Mexico. He debuted on the radio at age 8. At age 15, he performed live with Timbiriche, a Mexican pop-rock band that sold over 20 million albums worldwide. Currently, Ramon is working on his first album, La Hormiga Atómica (Atomic Ant) which will be released in 2016.
Singer-songwriter Kate Targan is a critically acclaimed American jazz and country music vocal artist. In a popular musical landscape that is too frequently safe and predictable, Kate Targan presents a bold and adventurous spirit that is unexpectedly natural. Honest. Healing. And strong.
