Pacific Northwest Historians Guild 2012 Conference
The theme of the 28th Annual Pacific Northwest Historians Guild Conference is "Century 21 Seattle World's Fair: The Future in 1962." The conference features presentations of papers examining the impact and importance of Seattle's 1962 World's Fair. Admission includes special luncheon lecture with Robert Nellams, Plenary Speaker, Jeffery Ochsner, the screening of the new KCTS9 documentary featuring footage from the Fair, walking tours of the Seattle Center grounds led by the Museum of History & Industry and the Seattle Architecture Foundation, docent-led tours of the new Museum of History & Industry exhibit and admission to the Friday night Reception.
Seattle Center has a food court, and there are many lunch options within walking distance of the conference site. You are also welcome to bring your own lunch. The luncheon on Saturday will feature a guest speaker, Robert Nellams, so we do encourage you to attend. Join us Friday evening for a conference kick-off reception at Seattle Center.
For early registration, payment must be received by May 1st 2012
Friday reception and Saturday Conference registration for Guild Members is $30 Friday reception and Saturday conference registration for non-Guild members is $35 Conference and Reception registration for students is $25 Boxed lunch for Saturday is $14
