Catherine and Gwen were close in grad school but chose polar opposite paths after graduation. While Catherine pursued an academic career and authored controversial books, Gwen poured herself into her home and family. Years later, when Catherine returns to be near her ailing mother, both women reveal that they are restless and unfulfilled.Now, they will each risk life-as-they've-known-it in hopes of finding balance and true fulfillment.
