On this 2-hour walking tour of the Lower East Side and its surrounding neighborhoods, you will hear a dozen largely unknown tales from New York's storied past. Learn why the "good old days" weren't always so good.
Starting at Essex Street Market, we will mingle our way through one of the most diverse and fascinating residential and commercial centers of New York City, revealing the hidden treasures set right before our eyes and, in one instance, literally below our feet.
Among the tales you will hear is the story of an early 20th century double murder mystery which remains unsolved to this day! Witness the location of a public exhibition gone terribly wrong.
