SOUTH COUNTY CHAMBER SINGERS LAUNCH 32ND CONCERT SEASON WITH BROADWAY MEETS THE MET
South County Chamber Singers, under the baton of Artistic Director Dr. Enrico Garzilli, will present BROADWAY MEETS THE MET, an audience-pleasing blend of Beatles, West Side Story and selected Broadway tunes, along with well known arias and choruses from popular operas such as Carmen. These will be interspersed with pieces composed by Garzilli for both solo and chorus, making for an eclectic musical offering!
Joining the group are Sharon Key, soprano; Paula Redd Rollins, mezzo-soprano; Georgette Ross Hutchins, alto; Michael DiMucci, tenor; and Tim Hoyt, bass. Providing instrumental support are Philip Martorella on piano, Jean Maxon Carpenter on keyboard, Manuel Morales on trumpet and Rich Brownell on percussion. Audience members are guaranteed to leave with a smile on their faces and a song in their hearts.
