Grow your Own Food Forest
Learn how to incorporate fruits, nuts, vegetables, herbs, and flowers by mimicking a forest. This class will take you beyond planting annuals to incorporating trees, shrubs, and perennials that bear fruit year after year. Key food forest concepts, basic site preparation steps, and examples of useful plants to create your own food forest will be covered. You'll have an opportunity to participate in a sheet-mulching demo and see the variety of plants you can use for your own food forest
Instructors: Kimberly Leeper and Jackie Cramer , Permaculture Designers and Beacon Food Forest activists. They are Landscape Professionals with a combined 35 years experience, running Mariposa Naturescapes and Earth Care, respectively
