Jim Page Concert
The Marshall Grange is privileged to be hosting a concert by the legendary topical songwriter Jim Page on Friday March 9. As Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter says, "If Jim Page ain't the bastard son of Woody Guthrie I'm T-Bone Walker". Page honed his performance skills on the streets of New York and later Seattle, where got the street singing laws changed which has resulted in the incredible street singing scene centered around Pike Street Market. He is a master song writer, wicked guitar player and the most relevant topical musician of the day. You can learn more about him and listen to his music at www.jimpage.net. The Marshall Grange Hall is a small intimate venue and the perfect place to enjoy this fine musician. Proceeds from the show will go to the Marshall Grange 2012 Scholarship Fund.
