SOLD OUT Politics & Prose and Sixth & I Present Drew Barrymore
Drew Barrymore has long been open about her early years: starting a career in film at the age of just six and her no less precocious struggles with substance abuse. Her new memoir, WILDFLOWER, looks at all that has happened to the actress since. Picking up the story from age fourteen, Barrymore, a descendant of one of America's first families of the theatre, talks about living on her own as a teenager, her transition from child star to successful actress, the production company, Flower Films, she co-founded in 1997, and her work as a model, director, and Ambassador Against Hunger for the UN World Food Program.
