Buckshot N Benny / Birthday Girl
An official selection of the Vancouver International Improv Festival and Toronto's ProjectProject Combustion Fest, the dynamic New York/Vancouver long-form improv duo known as Buckshot N Benny return to the improv-festival scene after their Cross-Canada tour of 2008!
BNB are Vancouver-based Kaitlin Fontana (Instant Theater, Ghost Jail, Magnet Theater) and NYC-based Louie Pearlman (The Spidey Project, Story Pirates, Beauty Love Truth). BNB have been called, "An incredibly subtle and affecting success" (Mike Hingston, The Peak) and "A [true] example of 'improv THEATRE.' This set is the sort of thing than non-improv people see and can't believe is improvised. It was that good." (Gary Chan, Bad Dog Theatre Co., Toronto). Buckshot N Benny: The best (and probably only) bi-coastal, international improv duo named after an obscure Canadian children's television show that you will ever see.
