2:00 pm to 3:30 pm- "Measure R Contracts: Understanding the Design-Build Bid Process"
Measure R was approved in November 2008, committing a projected $40 billion to traffic relief and transportation upgrades throughout the county over the next 30 years. Measure R will help fund dozens of critical transit and highway projects and create more than 210,000 new construction jobs. This session will provide you with information on working with prime contractors and the design-build project delivery method to be utilized on Measure R projects.
