Lisa sings with a quiet confidence that draws the listener in; her vivid story songs are richly told literate and lean without being spare. A popular Boston street performer and traveling singer-songwriter, Lisa was on the verge of greater success when she stepped away from music back in 2005. A random request to perform on a radio show last summer sparked a renewed interest in songwriting. In timed carved out from her life as a busy stay-at-home mom of two very small children, Lisa has kick-started her return to music with a stunning new batch of songs. Joining Lisa is longtime friend and collaborator (and Red Sox organist) Josh Kantor on bass. Come celebrate!

THE SEA THE SEA is an indie folk-pop duo-band featuring what Huffington Post calls, "Two of the loveliest male-female voices you might ever hear this or any other year." Their 2014 debut release, Love We Are We Love, received praise from NPR, American Songwriter, and No Depression, among others, gathering over 3 million streams on Spotify. The animated video for their song "Waiting" sparked viral interest including Buzzfeed, Pitchfork, and inclusion at the international TED 2015 conference. Mountain Stage host Larry Groce calls them "ready to take their place among the best young male/female duos now performing."
