We are now sold out for this event. Please check back regularly as we do sometimes release tickets last minute! Our Waitlist policy is as follows: Anyone who would like to put their name on the Spring Awakening wait list must show up to the theatre lobby anytime between 7:20 PM and 8:00 PM and give their name to the house manager at the front desk. We will not be adding anyone's name who is not physically present in the theatre ((aka you can not sign up for your friends - they have to be there!) After we have done a head count at 8:00 PM in the theatre - we will be able to determine how many wait list guests we can accommodate. Show dates include: Sunday, April 22nd at 8 PM. You can also check out our facebook page for detailed updates or email us with any further questions. Thank you!

Event

Spring Awakening L.A.
Spring Awakening is a rock musical adaptation of the 1892 German play of the same title by Frank Wedekind. It features music by Duncan Sheik and book and lyrics by Steven Sater.  Set in late-19th century Germany, it concerns teenagers who are discovering the inner and outer tumult of sexuality. In the musical, alternative rock is employed as part of the folk-infused rock score. Spring Awakening received eleven 2007 Tony Award nominations, winning eight, including Tonys for best musical, direction, book, score and featured actor. Although the cultural landscape has changed quite a bit since Wedekind  wrote Spring Awakening in the late 1800's, the enduring themes are still as topical as ever. We are producing Spring Awakening in the spring of 2012 in Hollywood, where a similar artistic renaissance is also underway. The musical numbers will be the same, but the setting will be intimate, new and fresh.

Question: What should one wear when seated on-stage?
Answer: whatever you'd like!

Question: Is there any parking at the theatre, or is it all street parking?
Answer: There is a parking lot adjacent to the theatre for $8 or ample street parking. Thanks!

Question: When will Janel Parrish be performing other than 3/31?
Answer: That is the only date Janel is scheduled to go on as of now. Thanks!

Question: When trying to purchase tickets, the only option was general admission. Does this mean you have to sit in the audience or can you sit on the stage or anywhere as long as your there on time?
Answer: Hi! To sit on stage you must purchase "on stage tickets". If that option is not available, that means those seats have been sold for that evening. General admission means all seats that are NO on stage. Thanks!l

Question: Is it possible that Harrison Meloeny will be featured on another date between March 22 and April 15? We have a large group who would like to see him, but tix are sold out.
Answer: hi there! march 22nd is the only day harrison is scheduled to go on - but we do recommend coming to wait in the waiting line that day as we've been getting between 4-10 people in each night.

Question: How does the waiting line work? (When should we get there etc.) And do you think that would be an option for Janel's show on March 31st?
Answer: I think it's worth a shot - Janel is pretty amazing! The house opens at 7:20 PM so make sure to arrive then. Also check back closer to the date - sometimes people switch out tickets for different nights. Thanks!

Question: I know you've said Janel Parrish is scheduled to only go on on 3/31, but isn't she playing the role of Anna? Does this mean she will be performing for all the shows in that role? I'm particularly looking at the 3/25 show. Thanks!
Answer: Yes, Janel is in every show as Anna and only plays Wendla on 3/31. On 3/24 Janel will be Anna! Thanks!

Question: If the show says Sold Out, what are the chances of tickets becoming available?
Answer: There is always a great chance! You can check the website daily because sometimes people change their tickets to a different date or refund them if they can no longer make-it. We also have a waitlist every evening at the door and we've been getting in between 5-10 people each night! But yes, if you can purchase ahead - that's always the best bet!

Question: What restaurants are in the general vicinity of the theater? Hoping to grab dinner before the show! :)
Answer: Miceli's Pizzeria and Sadie's Bar are both across the street on Las Palmas and are great!

Question: We need two tickets to April 1st and it says the tickets are sold out. Is there any chance that we might get tickets before then?
Answer: Please email overthemoonprods@gmail.com with your request. Thanks!

Question: If I bought will-call tickets, was I supposed to print a receipt or something? Also, what am I supposed to bring? The credit card I bought the tickets with or just and ID with the name I bought it under?
Answer: Just bring yourself and your name! :)

Question: What time does the theatre open before the show?
Answer: 7:20 PM!

Question: Your website says that Michael David performs April 18, but that is not a choice on dates to buy tickets. Is there a show that night or was it just a typo mistake?
Answer: Hello! That is a mistake - thank you for catching it! We do not have a show on the 18th and we'll adjust our website.

Question: How does the waitlist work? When can you start lining up and where do you stand in line?
Answer: Hello! The waitlist works as follows: You may start standing in line at 7:15 PM as the box office opens at 7:20 PM. You will then put your name on the waitlist and wait in the lobby until all ticket-buyers are seated. We will do a seat count and see how many extra seats we have (if any) and then start at the top of the waiting list and work our way down. We really do try to accomodate as many people as we can but it's a matter of people now showing up. Thanks!

Question: How many seats do you usually have left on the waitlist?
Answer: Hi! Well, technically no seats are left BUT we usually get in between 3-7 people every night who are on the waitlist - so def worth a shot! Good luck!

Question: What are the chances of there being open seats on closing night for the waitlist?
Answer: The chances are very good! We normally get in 3-8 people depending upon the night and who doesn't show. Best advice: SHOW UP EARLY and put your name on the list! House opens at 7:20 pm. Thanks!

Question: For parking, can we park on the street without getting a ticket..or do we just pay for parking lot?
Answer: Hi! There are metered spots for sure - but it's Hollywood so if you want one - come early! Otherwise there are a lot of parking lots near the theatre that are affordable - including a $5 one on Selma Ave. Good luck!

Question: If I wanna be first to get a seat, what time should I get there to be in line?
Answer: The box office opens around 7:20 PM!

Question: What time do people start lining up before the doors open?
Answer: Hi! It's different every night but normally around 7 PM. Thanks!

Question: Hi I saw that people were already on the waitlist for saturday, how do I get on it for sunday?
Answer: Sorry if that was confusing - we have a ton of people who've emailed and said they are coming but no one is on the waitlist until they show up at the theatre and put their name down! So to get in on Sunday - just come early! Thanks!
