Braindead
Braindead is an experiential installation that serves as a phantasmic primer for a person who has/has not already considered extending their life capacity using cryonics (colloquially known as cryogenics or cryogenic freezing, though cryonics/cryonic suspension are the more accurate terms). The video may be used to provide a gateway into an imagined cryonic head space by way of phenomenological stimulation. With full access to a participant's senses, a state of dream-like semi consciousness can occur, where the viewer has the option to slip out of the reality of present time and fully immerse themselves in the possibility of limitless life. Amateur cryonic methodological under experimentation include brain wash, brain freeze, and brain death.
Part of the SPATIAL FILM SERIES at The Tank, curated by Emma Zbiral-Teller.
