Falling Waters Music Camp 2016

Join us for a fun and inspiring weekend of instruction, jamming and performance at the beautiful La Tourelle Resort. Classes and performances will be led by some amazing string instructors and performers including Tony Demarco, Rob Hecht, Jayme Stone, David Surrette, Susie Burke, Judy Hyman, Allison De Groot, Nicholas Walker,Anthony Hannigan, Chad Darou, John & Cathy Cadley, Laurie Hart, Hope Grietzer, Tim Ball, Bobby Henrie, Aaron Lipp, Paul Fairbanks, and Rick Manning. Instruction will be offered on fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo, bass,and singing at beginner, advanced beginner, intermediate and advanced levels in a variety of styles that include Irish, old-time, bluegrass, swing, French Canadian, Scandinavian, contradance, and folk. The weekend will begin on Friday at 5pm with a happy hour reception and jam in the La Tourelle Lobby. After the reception and dinner, at 7pm, we will have introductions and weekend orientation. At 7:30 pm we have the first of two 60-minute classes and followed by time for socializing and jamming throughout the hotel. Four 90-minute classes will be held on Saturday during the day and there will be an outstanding faculty concert (open to the public) and jamming in the evening. Sunday morning there will be two classes with the weekend coming to a close at 1pm on Sunday afternoon. Note that the early bird registration prices will end on January 3, 2016. Tickets are non-refundable.
