TransportedSF Ladies of Bass w Jocelyn, Dulce Vita, & Alxndra
For those unfamiliar with the concept: This is a mobile party on board a biodiesel powered bus with 3 great DJs. And with couches lining the sides, a great sound system, and a dancefloor in the back this is no ordinary bus. We stop at 2-3 beautiful outdoor locations over the course of our ride for dancing and merriment.
Jocelyn (Club Exotica/Get Freaky) - Since the dawn of time men and women have been enraptured by the sacred dance, spiraling into the heights of ecstasy and submerging into the depths of soulful bliss. By communing with the vixen within, Jocelyn channels this energy, adds some sub-bass and creates a gypsy infused sauce of luscious whomp. Like a soft caress down the back of your neck, delicate twinklings of sultry highs lull dancers into a sonic womb, only to be enticed back into throbbing convulsions by yet another one of her glitched out gypsy/latin and tropical infused bassy beats. Increasing the chance of your evening's coupling with that of sheer wild fun and yum, her sexy, gutteral, grinding, liquid-lithe mixes, driving your consciousness deep into your hips, while you move with her to an entrancing beat. http://soundcloud.com/dj-jocelyn-1
Dulce Vita (Opulent Temple), uses the crossfader as her primary canvas with a signature brand of aggressive intent she performs a sound all her own - an energetically urban soundscape, infused with audible hints of Nu Skool Breaks, Big Beat, Chunky Electro, Filtered Disco, World Beats, Chillout, Dubstep, Glitch-Hop, and IDM. In recent past, Dulce was named WINNER of SF Weekly: City of Spin 2009 (Annual DJ Competition) and her performance at Burning Man earned a prestigious mention in international publication 'DJ Mag.'
Alxndra wows crowds with a bumping mix of funky midtempo, glitch, hip-hop and world beats. "World Crunk" for short. Plus she's got the prettiest hair.
