Epic Lovers Unite!
Csenge Zalka is a skilled storyteller from Hungary who is getting her PhD in the US. One of her favorite epics is The Shahnameh, which gives the cultural identity of Persia. The episodes are full of magic, heroes and values.
Cathryn Fairlee has leaned towards epics for nearly 20 years. The epic tale narrated by the bard Dede Korkut tells of Turkmen migrating through the Caucasus Mountains. The episodes are full of character and humor.
