Club Series: Rockin' Recons
The Rockin' Recons will make their Franco Center debut as part of the Center's Club Series. The Rockin' Recons have been a local favorite since their '60s heyday and are excited to rock a party at the newly-renovated Heritage Hall.
The Rockin' Recons are one of the four original bands that were featured in the PAL Hop Shows of the 60s that put L/A on the nationwide music map. Their ability to emulate the best bands from the classic rock era is why they are successful with capturing the hearts of both the young and older generations. Since the reforming of the group after a twenty-year hiatus in 1987, the band continued to perform. After several years, some of the members decided to move on and new members were added to form the group of today.
Joining them will be 11-year old phenom guitarist Justin Lindsay, the grandson of Recon Ron Vachon. Hailing from from Scarborough, Maine, Justin has been playing guitar since he was the tender age of 7.
