FROM GARDEN TO PANTRY, PRESERVING THE HARVEST
In this special 2-part, hands-on workshop, you will learn the water bath canning method with Gwenne Baile and lacto-fermentation with Keith Monahan and Barbara Thomas. Not only will you make your very own jars of applesauce and traditional Korean kimchi, but you will also take home new skills that bring you closer to food sovereignty. Please bring an apron,a paring knife, and a hair tie or bandana and get ready to have fun. The $25 will help cover the mostly organic (according to availability) ingredients, jars and space rental. Space is limited so early registration is advised.
