Chris Thayer is a stand-up comic living in Los Angeles. He started doing stand-up in San Francisco, was a regular member of The Business SF (named "Best Cheap Night of Comedy - 2012" by SF Weekly), performed frequently at Hemlock Tavern's "Club Chuckles," created and hosted "NERVES" and "Warm Regards" stand-up series, co-created the comedy variety show "Funny Party," and co-founded The Business LA .

He has appeared in SF Sketchfest (2011, '12, & '13), Riot LA (2012), Bridgetown Comedy Festival (2011), High Plains (2014), and at such venues as Punchline Comedy Club, Cobb's Comedy Club, The Purple Onion (SF/R.I.P.), Comedy Underground (Seattle), Lincoln Lodge (Chicago), Meltdown Comics (L.A.), Largo (L.A.), Hollywood Improv, and The Creek & The Cave (NYC)

He was a Digital Writer forand has been featured on"The Pete Holmes Show," wrote on the pilot for "The Midnight Show with Pete Holmes" and has been a guest on the podcast "You Made it Weird with Pete Holmes" multiple times (solo episode #50 and live episodes #56, #89, #124, #144, #167, #228, & #247).

He was also featured in Splashlife.com's article "30 Under 30: Comedians to Watch", FunnyorDie.com's "The Funniest Dudes You Should Be Following in 2013", and Mandatory.com's "The 100 Funniest Tweets of 2012".
