Join the Bovines as they host their first great evening of Americana song at the beautiful and intimate The Pocono Community Theater. Bred on the northern banks of the Delaware River, Bovine Social Club is a grassy, twangy, swinging breed of Americana sounds backing the thoughtful lyrics of vocalist and philosopher, Samuel Saint Thomas. Their carefully crafted twangrass songs of longing, loving, picnicking, gardening, confessing, and making the days go really slow have sure become something to moo about. BSC is one of the fastest growing and most highly respected new Americana bands in the Northeast, sharing some of the finest festival and concert stages with some of the finest talent. In this rare local appearance, on October the 17th, they bring it to their hometown theater.

The Boiled Owls are an original, Lehigh Valley string quintet playing a variety of folk, bluegrass and Americana music. Comprised of five-string banjo, two acoustic guitars, upright bass and mandolin, The Boiled Owls deliver a unique sound by infusing traditional bluegrass roots with elements of contemporary folk. Since its inception in 2012, the band has been playing relentlessly throughout the Mid-Atlantic and has been making a strong presence in the festival circuit and beyond. They will deliver!

Dina Hall is an award-winning singer, songwriter and recording artist. Her songs deal with the conflict between the head and the heart, often striking up conversations between them both. Dina Hall's work blends folk/rock and Americana instrumentation with intimately powerful vocals. She has been a repeat performer at numerous festivals in the region, including one of the largest in the country, Musikfest in Bethlehem, Pa. In May 2013, she made her debut performance at Muses in the Vineyard, Belvidere, NJ. An integral part of the festival, she returns each year either as an emcee or performer.
