Global Citizen Corps National Summit
Step up your commitment and time with the Global Citizen Corps (GCC) National Summit. This week-long, interactive, educational and fun orientation training initiates a year-long leadership program.
Meet other leaders from around the country in-person and talk to fellow GCC leaders across the globe through live video conference calls and online discussions. Spend your days learning about global issues and preparing your own action projects. During the evenings get to know your peers and explore what it means to be a global citizen. Students are selected through an application process, and following the summit, commit to participating in activities over the course of a year.
This is a residency camp lasting from June 25 29. Trainings will occur at Mercy Corps' global headquarters in Portland, OR. Food and lodging will be provided.
Here are the steps for registration:
Step 1: Join the Global Citizen Corps! Apply online (www.globalcitizencorps.org/leadership/apply) by March 1st.
Step 2: When you hear back from GCC that your application has been received and accepted, you'll receive a password/code to pay registration fee here on BPT.
Step 3: In addition, we'll need a completed registration form sent to us. Download our registration form at: http://www.mercycorps.org/actioncenter/Youth_Workshop_Registration_Form.pdf. Complete and send to Mercy Corps, Global Citizen Corps, 45 SW Ankeny, Portland, OR 97204.
