Proceeds from this event support the non-profit 501c3 Bluegrass Heritage Foundation. The Foundation works to preserve and promote the heritage of bluegrass music in America, with a focus on North Texas. The Foundation works to educate the public about this distinctly American form of music with roots in Irish, Scottish, and English traditional music through educational programs and workshops, public performances, and other similar efforts.
