5 BUCKS! with Rebuilder, Jim Keaney, and Special Guests
New Hampshire's 5 Bucks! returns this black Friday to play a set of songs from their 2 albums and 2 EP's.
Formed in 1997 and establishing a fan base in the Northeast, 5 Bucks! became an opening act for bean town ska-core staples Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Big D and the Kids Table, and Kicked in the Head. The band opened for national acts like the Ataris and the Queers in their native granite state.
Their second release, "This Is My Girlfriend" EP, received positive reviews from the Northeast Performer. In 2001 and 2002, the band toured the east coast twice promoting their LP "Game Over" and played a string of shows with their friends in Pennsylvania's Digger (Hopeless Records). Their final release "The Situation" EP, an enhanced CD, featured a live video from the bands 2001 appearance at the annual Hometown Throwdown.
The pop punk band disbanded in 2003, playing their final show at the Axis in Boston.
REBUILDER, Jim Keaney, and special guests will open this special event.
