WTS October Program: Women in Bicycling
Please join us on October 8th for a panel discussion with women leaders in the local bicycling community. Barb Chamberlain (Washington Bikes), Nicole Freedman (Seattle Department of Transportation Active Transportation Director), Deb Salls (BikeWorks), Cathy Tuttle (Seattle Greenways), Jessica Szelag (Commute Seattle), and Elizabeth Kiker (Cascade Bicycle Club) will discuss current plans to expand bike lanes throughout the Puget Sound region, the growth of bike sharing, and the future vision of the area's bicycling network. At the event, you'll have a chance to eat and network with other transportation professionals.
When: Thursday, October 8, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: EnviroIssues, 101 Stewart Street, Ste. 1200, Seattle, WA 98101
Cost: $12 for public agency staff, $17 for WTS members and $22 for non-members (plus Brown Paper Tickets service fee). Ticket price includes the cost of lunch. Please RSVP by purchasing your ticket through Brown Paper Tickets no later than Tuesday, October 6.
