See You Thursday Featuring Special Guests Marion Correctional Institution's Improv Team, Healing Broken Circles "Take That Back"
Columbus Unscripted, in collaboration with Healing Broken Circles and The Wild Goose Creative, invite you to join us on September 11, 2015, for "Take That Back". This event is the first of its kind in the nation and perhaps the world. "Take That Back" is an improvised show that will be performed by an ensemble of improvisors from the Marion Correctional Institution in Marion, Ohio and streamed live, via Skype, to The Wild Goose Creative at 2491 Summit St. in Columbus, OH.
In early 2015, Columbus Unscripted's program "Changing Time", in cooperation with Healing Broken Circles, began a series of improvisation classes for a group of 20 - 25 inmates at the Marion Correctional Institution in Marion Ohio. "Changing Time" is a program designed to develop social communication and strengthen self confidence through the art and craft of improvisation. It is also intended to compliment the Healing Broken Circles philosophy of "strength based programming" and "providing space for healing and learning for those touched by the justice system."
Please join us for an unforgettable evening of improvisation and conversation. Doors open at 7:15 and the show will begin promptly at 8:00pm. We will make an effort to allow time for you to meet, interact and ask questions of the Marion performers. "Take That Back" will be followed by our regular Friday night feature show, "See You Thursday".
Tickets are just $5:00. These tickets will go fast so it is highly recommended that you purchase your tickets online ASAP.
