Rocket Boys Festival Rocket Contest Launch Saturday October 3 2015
You can Build and Launch a Rocket on same field with the Rocket Boys, Homer Hickam, Roy Lee Cooke, Jimmie O'Dell Carroll and Billy Rose all are scheduled to launch rockets on Saturday October 3rd. The "Contest Build" you will build your very own rocket the day of the event (all rocket building material will be provided by the festival, rocket building starts at 11:00am with launches beginning at 1:30PM at the First Community Bank Launch Pad in the New River Park which is next to the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine.(2 minute walk from the BEMC)
