An evening of beguiling opera music, fully staged and costumed. This year's program features colorful samplings from Handel's Giulio Cesare and Offenbach's Tales of Hoffmann. The music of Mozart is highlighted in delightful and humorous excerpts from The Magic Flute and Così fan tutte. A patriotic and unorthodox salute to Susan B. Anthony and the struggle for women's suffrage (The Mother of Us All) by Virgil Thomson and Gertrude Stein completes this year's selection of operatic scenes.
Join us for an evening of enchanting operatic arias and ensembles performed by talented student singers and actors, joined by the Shoreline Chamber Chorale, and accompanied by chamber orchestra and piano.
General Admission - $15 Seniors, Non-SCC Students $10 SCC Students, Children 14 or under - $ 8
