The Remember Me Project
Scandinavian American Theater Company is excited to begin the season with our most recent venture: Shows-In-Development.
Following a successful staged reading in March representing Finland, SATC brings "Remember Me" back before an audience and this time you get to be a part of the creative process.
We are quite excited to have the original creative team involved once again. What you will see is consciously unfinished. Raw. Being built. You will be encouraged to engage the artists with questions and reactions throughout the night. We are also thrilled to be joined by our Special Guest: playwright, Minna Nurmelin.
Minna will be available to provide precious insight into her work and discuss it with you in greater detail.
Our goal is for Shows-In-Development to become the natural next step in bringing the best contemporary Scandinavian plays to the New York stage, ensuring the best possible product as well as maintain a connection with, you, our treasured audience.
Starring: Jackie Sanders* (USA) and Heli Sirviö (Finland) *Appearing courtesy of Actors' Equity Association An Equity Approved Showcase
Written by Minna Nurmelin (Finland) Directed by Drew O'Kane (USA) Translated by Eva Buchwald (UK) The play is presented by arrangement with Nordic Drama Corner, Helsinki.
