Hot Greeks
The run of "Hot Greeks" is sold out. In rare cases a ticket may go back on sale here. If you'd like to be on stand-by list to purchase tickets that might be turned in the night of the show, arrive at the theatre when the house opens at 7:30 pm and sign up. You'll know by 8:00 pm if you'll be able to get in that night. There is no other waiting list for tickets. If you aren't able to see "Hot Greeks," we do hope you can attend Thrillpeddlers' next production, "Marat/Sade" starting July 11, 2012 at BRAVA Theater Center (at 24th and Bryant) in SF.
Note: Ticket refunds and exchanges are only available for twelve hours after the original ticket purchase.

In our "Turkish Lounge" for two, couples may bask in decadent languor and kick back among oriental carpets and silken pillows while enjoying the show.
About HOT GREEKS: In HOT GREEKS college rhythm meets the Peloponnesian War as Athens University takes on Sparta State for their annual pigskin showdown. This musical, loosely based on Aristophanes' LYSISTRATA, features the Tri Thigh Sorority girls jiving to the big-band hit parade sounds of the 1940s. The kids sing and dance through the ruins, on their way to consult the Oracle of Delphi (The Hot Twat of Tangier) in their pursuit of victory on the gridiron where quarterback Pendulum Pulaski, the Scarlet Helmet Boy, saves the day for the Gods and Greece.
Originally produced as a Nocturnal Dream Show and performed at midnight at the Palace Theatre in Chinatown in SF, HOT GREEKS was the fabled and fabulous Cockettes' only other full-length "book musical" besides PEARLS OVER SHANGHAI.
Here's what critics wrote about Thrillpeddlers 2010 one-act production of HOT GREEKS:
"Hot Greeks is compelling, outstanding, mesmerizing, sexy, brilliant, irresistible, jaw-dropping, pants dropping, intriguing and profoundly unique!" - Lee Hartgrave - Beyond Chron
"libidinous hilarity" - Robert Avila - SF Guardian
"Hot Greeks is a blast ... lovingly detailed, gamely performed, and voiced by a diverse and charmingly pan-sexual cast, and carefully choreographed, it's a shrewd and sharply executed production that manages to remain always rambunctiously carefree in tone." - Robert Avila - SF Guardian "Blackwood, who also directed "Pearls", has again managed to create to put polish on what could be mayhem, and Kara Emry and Morningwood have designed the costumes that can best be described as indescribable." - Richard Dodds - Bay Area Reporter "It's freakishly fun." - Nathaniel Eaton - SF Weekly
