Creative Dramatics I

Class meets on Mondays. September 14th to December 7th. 4:15-5:15

For Pre-K through 1st grade. The class will introduce foundational theatre knowledge with an energetic mix of games and simple improvisational exercises.

About the Teachers
Catie Maxwell has been involved in theatre since high school and a part of the PCT family since 2007's Once Upon A Mattress. She has extensive acting experience, as well as technical experience with lighting, costumes and makeup, and is pursuing a degree in Education. She is a wife and mother, and 2-year-old Ella is a theatre baby who loves to be on the stage.
Tim J. Wood has been involved with PCT since 1992 and has acted, directed, and designed many productions over the years. He has a BA in Theatre from TAMU-Commerce and has also worked with North Lamar High School and Paris Jr. College over the years in various capacities. This is the second time he has taught for PCT. Both Catie and Tim are very excited to be teaching Creative Dramatics I. The class will be an action packed fun time, while at the same time teaching basic theatre movement and character building skills.
