Muskegon Oktoberfest 4th Annual

ABOUT THE EVENT:
"An Oktoberfest celebration of live music, food, craft beers and wines along the lighted trails of Muskegon State Park -with a distinctive Michigan taste coupled with Bavarian flair."
Join us in an intimate setting within an expansive 400 acre forest enjoying an great afternoon and evening celebrating Michigan and German cultures! Last years event saw over 1800 visitors!
Friday
6:30 to Midnight is our HAHN FASS PARTEI (German for TAPPING OF THE KEGS party!) This is a private tapping of the kegs party for all registered campers at Muskegon State Park. Free admission. Music By: DuoJets
Saturday Admission
$20.00 per adult 21 and over. Includes special Oktoberfest mugto first 750 pre registered ticket holders!!), pretzel necklace, 4 free tastes; must be 21 + to participate in tasting
$10.00 Youth 20 and under. (5 and under free and excludes summer luge and archery.)
Saturday Schedule Of Events
The complex main stage opens at 3:00PM and the 30 piece German band Ein Prosit kicks off the event and takes stage from 3:30pm until 6:30 pm.
Our family fun areas features kids activities that run from 3:00PM-7:00PM ticket price includes the following activities.
* Live German music by Ein Prosit
*1 ride down the Summer Luge
*1 Pumpkin roll down the winter luge (Pumpkins available for additional cost or bring your own)
* Face painting
* Archery Range
* Cookie decorating and more!
Muskegon Oktoberfest Bier Tasting Trail 5pm-9pm
The famed Muskegon Oktoberfest Bier Tasting Trail starts off at 5pm and lasts until 9pm. There are four biergartens along this years trail with live music at each biergarten along with tastings of Michigan and German brews,wines, and sodas. This years bands include Smoking Inside, The House Rockers, Chris Cordle and Jared Sjoblom, with additional acts announced soon. There will also be fresh pretzels, soups, and more for purchase at each biergarten.
Muskegon Oktoberfest Main Stage
8pm -Midnight/ The fun is not over when the trail closes down as the Muskegon Oktoberfest Main Stage will feature live music by the acclaimed Westside Soul Surfers. There will be food, bonfires, and special performing stage acts in between sets.
Must be 21 and over to drink!

PARKING:
PLEASE NOTE: Due to parking limitations THERE WILL BE NO AVAILABLE PARKING AT THE WINTER SPORTS COMPLEX or Campground unless you are a registered camper.(Shuttle service only!)
Please park in one of our 3 pick up locations to be picked up by our Oktoberfest Shuttles, running 3pm-12am every 15 minutes!
Featured stops: Lake Michigan Campground, Lake Michigan Bathhouse/Public Parking, The Blockhouse.
RECREATION PASSPORT NEEDED FOR PARKING AT MUSKEGON STATE PARK
The MDNR requires all drivers entering Muskegon State Park are to have a Recreation Passport. Michigan residents can purchase an annual passport at the all parking facilities through the DNR for $11.00 or out of state residents daily for $9
