Prismatic '60s band Vanilla Fudge on tour in 2015
Zodiac Productions is proud to present psychedelic rock group, Vanilla Fudge, in concert on October 10th at 7pm. The show will be held at Gator's Lounge in Jeannette, PA.
Established in 1967, "The Fudge" was one of the first bands to introduce a kaleidoscope of sound containing psychedelia, soul, and heavy metal. Although they have plenty of original material, their biggest hits were spaced-out renditions of popular songs like "You Keep Me Hangin' On", "Season of the Witch", and "Ticket to Ride".
In 1968, the band released their second album "The Beat Goes On" and landed a gig on The Ed Sullivan Show. As their popularity heightened, the band supported it by touring with Jimi Hendrix, opening several dates on Cream's farewell tour, and later touring with an up-and-coming Led Zeppelin as their opening act.
The band is currently touring in celebration of eighteen years together and a new album titled "Spirit of '67". Today's lineup consists of original members Mark Stein, Vince Martell, and Carmine Appice with Pete Bremy on bass.
