LEGOLAND California Resort Tour

Join AIA members and guests from our Chapters in San Diego, Palomar, Orange County and Long Beach/South Bay for a unique introduction to one of SoCal's most successful visitor attractions LEGOLAND California located in Carlsbad, North San Diego County.

First opened in 1999, LEGOLAND is a 128-acre park geared specifically towards youngsters ages 2 - 12. With more than 60 family rides, "hands-on" attractions and shows, LEGOLAND California provides education, adventure and fun in this first park of its kind in the United States. The LEGOLAND California Resort currently encompasses the original park (1999), a LEGO-themed Sea Life Aquarium (2008), a CHIMA-themed water park (2010) and a hotel (2013). The importance of tourism to the California economy can hardly be overstated, contributing about 4 times the economic benefit as agriculture.

The program will include a guided introduction to the attraction and facilities as well as a "lunch & learn" workshop focused on specialty building systems/steel building openings used at the facility presented by Timely Steel Door Frames Inc., an approved CE provider.
