(IWD) 2012 International Women's Day Awards Luncheon and Summit
In celebration of International Women's Day, Global Arts and Education and Women's Intercultural Network will present the 2012 International Women's Day Summit (IWD). The Summit will focus on four areas of critical concern identified in the United Nation's 1995 Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action. The Beijing Declaration identified twelve areas that must be addressed to achieve gender equality for women. The Declaration was unanimously adopted by representatives from 189 countries attended the United Nation's Fourth World Conference on Women.
