The Business of Art with Gwen Gyldenege
This is for all who want to understand and take advantage of the ever expanding world wide web and how you can increase your visibility, share your art and find new customer bases. The workshops are taught as a series. There are 3 one day sessions with a 2 major topics per day. We've allowed 3 weeks between sessions to offer students time to practice what they've learned. Each day of is individually priced so that you may take 1 session or all 3 sessions. The workshops are designed for many levels: minimal web experience to advanced.
Workshops will be held 9:30am to 2:30 pm with 1 hour for lunch. Each day will cover 2 subjects one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Students should plan to bring their laptop.
Gwen is an artist, teacher, and businesswoman. As the owner of Calm Under Tension (http://calmundertension.com), Gwen sells her wearable art and helps her clients improve their businesses through the use of social media and online tools. She has been a guest lecturer for the University of Washington-Extension, has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and is a Certified Software Product Manager.
