Budding Biologists Day Camp at Pepperwood Preserve (Ages 12-14)
Hike, discover, and create nature journals during our fun-filled day camp at Pepperwood! With explorations of forests, meadows, and ponds, campers will get in-depth with the natural world while learning all about science. Each day involves a hands-on science activity, nature journaling, and about 2 hours of easy hiking and exploring. Campers will learn interesting facts about local flora and fauna, all while having fun and learning to love the outdoors! Camp is limited to 14, with a 7:1 ratio of instructors to campers.
Classes are led by enthusiastic environmental educators Margaret Boeger and Nicole Barden. Both of the instructors have degrees in biology and education, and have many years of teaching experience in Sonoma county native habitats.
