About Rabbi Gabriel Cousens
Gabriel Cousens is a rabbi, medical doctor and a spiritual teacher. Rabbi Cousens is recognized for pioneering natural healing approaches for the body, mind, soul, and living planet. He is the founder and director of the Tree of Life Foundation, which trains people for spiritual world service in international humanitarian programs benefiting disadvantaged families, children, and indigenous cultures through holistic education. At the age of forty in 1993, Cousens began to study the Torah and Kabbalistic texts intensely under several orthodox rabbis and, in 1996, officially began twelve years of rabbinical studies and training under Rabbi Gershon Winkler, son of the chief orthodox rabbi for Copenhagen, Denmark. Cousens received smicha in 2008.
